Just a couple of South Texas boys who grew up and followed in their dad's and grandfather's footsteps, making a living on the water. We've owned or operated everything from kayaks to 200-ft offshore supply vessels: in between those extremes -- skiffs and sailboats, crew boats and harbor tugs, z-drives and jet drives. We have an exclusive network of trusted, professional mariners (people we've actually sailed with; we'd trust them with our children as well as our boats) and can easily provide the perfect crew for your needs: whether you need a captain for a couple of days of training or a full crew for a trans-Atlantic yacht delivery or to relocate a towing vessel from one coast to the other, we would love to talk to you!
Reed Bros. Marine Services provides professional mariners to assist owners and brokers with vessel deliveries, sea trials, new owner familiarization and training, insurance check rides, and more. Safety and efficiency are our watchwords, and we have an exclusive network of licensed, professional mariners and working watermen from which we can create the perfect crew for your needs. Whether you just need a captain, or a marine engineer, or a crew of three or five or more, we've got you covered.
Captain Aaron Reed and his brother Johnathan Reed are third-generation mariners.Aaron holds a USCG license as a 1600 GRT/3000 GT Master, Master OSV, and Master of Towing Vessels. He has made two dozen sail and power deliveries along the East Coast of the United States, the Gulf Coast, and throughout the Caribbean. Even though Shawn's license is on the deck side, he's a darned good unlicensed marine engineer. We are proud to partner with Captain Nick Forsythe and Flagship Marine Services of New Jersey.
